PFL X Brown Munde PC
Introducing the PFL and how the collaboration with Brown Munde PC happened.
The Pakistan Football League (PFL) is an eight-team league that will take place in November this year and is the first-ever franchise-based competition in the South Asian nation. It is being organised by the PFL UK Holdings, led by its Chairman Farhan Junejo and president and CEO Ahmer Kunwar, and they were both keen to listen and learn from one of the most notable football entrepreneurs of his generation while he was in Pakistan.
Michael Owen is the official global ambassador for the brand-new PFL. The England legend, joined by Emile Heskey and Pascal Chimbonda, led an international delegation on a 800 mile journey from Islamabad to Lahore and then Karachi over three days last week. The ex-Liverpool, Real Madrid and Man Utd forward then took centre stage at the official launch party on Thursday.
On this trip, Brown Munde Podcast was responsible for inviting Michael Knighton (Artist, Entrepreneur, Ex Board Member at Manchester United), and Pascal Chimbonda (Ex Wigan, Tottenham Hotspurs, France footballer) to Pakistan. Michael and Pascal are close friends of Akeel (1/3 of Brown Munde) and on the trip itself, both individuals were loved and appreciated with their professional accolades and the experiences they brought to Pakistan. Amongst other Executives guests, the Brown Munde were well respected and grew their network with other club executives and have managed to slowly interviewed those that attended their experiences in Pakistan.
On the back of the PFL, Brown Munde are solely responsible for the handlings of both Michael Knighton and Pascal Chimbonda in their best interests for further PR work or coaching/executive roles.
